Salvador: pop e rock em ritmo latino
A mistura bem executada do pop contemporâneo com o ritmo dançante da música latina. Essa é a característica marcante da banda Salvador, grupo surgido em 1999, em Austin, no Texas, e hoje sediado em Nashville, no Tennessee (EUA). Nestes dez anos de carreira, Salvador soma oito álbuns que levam a mensagem da palavra de Deus através de um som carismático, divertido e cativante. Em 2009 a banda registra sua trajetória com “How Far Is Heaven: The Best of Salvador”, disco comemorativo que traz os melhores sucessos e inclui ainda três faixas inéditas.Formado por sete integrantes, Salvador é liderado por Nic Gonzales, vocalista, guitarrista e principal compositor do grupo. Foram os irmãos Nic e Art Gonzales e os primos Josh e Speddy Gonzales os fundadores da banda, mas hoje só Nic e Josh estão no grupo. Nic é casado com a cantora latina Jaci Velasquez. A banda e a cantora fizeram, em 2003, uma turnê juntos para o lançamento dos álbuns “Con Poder” (Salvador) e “Unspoken” (Jaci Velasquez).
