Confira os indicados ao GMA Dove Awards 2011

A Associação de Música Gospel dos Estados Unidos (GMA) anunciou ontem (16), em Atlanta, os indicados à 42ª edição do Dove Awards, a mais importante premiação norte-americana para a música cristã. Os cantores TobyMac e Chris Tomlin lideram as indicações, disputando em seis categorias, enquanto Jason Crabb recebeu cinco indicações e a cantora Francesca Battistelli, quatro. Na lista dos que concorrem pela primeira vez ao prêmio, disputado na categoria Artista Revelação, estão Audrey Assad, Chris August, Forever Jones, John Mark McMillan, Kerrie Roberts e Kristian Stafill.

Nesta edição, será a primeira vez que o evento acontece fora de Memphis e Nashville. A cerimônia de premiação que envolve 43 categorias ocorre no dia 20 de abril, a partir das 20hs (hora local), no Fox Theatre, em Atlanta, e terá exibição pelo canal Gospel Music Channel, no dia 24 (domingo), às 19hs. São levados em consideração os trabalhos lançados entre 01 de novembro de 2009 e 31 de outubro de 2010. Nas categorias Artista do Ano e Artista Revelação, a votação é feita pelos fãs, enquanto que, nas outras, são os membros da GMA que fazem a escolha.
